Adam Lefton grew up in Albertson, New York. In 2005, after earning a degree in English Literature from Dickinson College, he moved to Brooklyn, NY and began working at Ralph Vicinanza Limited, a literary agency whose clients include Stephen King and Augusten Burroughs. He received his MFA in fiction from Purdue University, where he served as Sycamore’s Managing Editor from 2010-2012. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Washington Square and Water~Stone Review.
