Anna Mitcov grew up in New York City where she studied literature at Barnard College. She also holds a law degree from New York University. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Calyx, Saint Ann’s Review, Crab Orchard Review, Karamu, Salamander, and Lifeboat: A Journal of Memoir under the name Linda Filchev. She currently lives in Northern California.
