Cary Groner received his MFA in Fiction Writing from the University of Arizona in 2009. His short stories have won numerous awards and appeared in venues that include Glimmer Train, American Fiction, Mississippi Review, Southern California Review, and Tampa Review. His first novel, Exiles, won the Hackney Literary Award and was recently published by Spiegel & Grau / Random House. Cary and his wife live in the San Francisco Bay area.
