Colleen Abel is a former Diane Middlebrook Poetry Fellow at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her work has appeared in numerous journals, including The Southern Review, West Branch, Notre Dame Review, Willow Springs and Salamander. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Her poem “The Cart of Thirst” was featured in Issue 23.2 Summer/Fall 2011.
