Dana Bisignani is excited to be Sycamore Review’s first Wabash Prize Coordinator. Originally from Worth, a south suburb of Chicago, Dana received her B.A. and M.A. in English from Western Illinois University and her M.F.A. in poetry from Purdue, where she is now pursuing a Ph.D. in poetics. She teaches composition and creative writing and can often be found prowling the local resale shops for vintage bargains in her free time. Her previous jobs include repairing driver’s ed film strips and preparing rotisserie chickens. Her poetry has appeared in Poetry East and Blue Collar Review and is forthcoming in both Prairie Schooner and Ted Kooser’s column American Life in Poetry.
