DANA BISIGNANI

Dana Bisignani is currently serving as Sycamore Review’s Publicist.  Originally from Worth, a south suburb of Chicago, Dana received her B.A. and M.A. in English from Western Illinois University and her M.F.A. in poetry  from Purdue, where she is now pursuing a Ph.D. in literature/poetics.  She teaches composition and creative writing and can be found digging in resale shops or reading and drinking coffee at the local Steak ‘n’ Shake.  Her previous jobs include repairing driver’s ed film strips and preparing rotisserie chickens.  Her poetry has appeared in Crab Orchard, Cimarron, Prairie Schooner, Blue Collar Review, and Grasslands and is also forthcoming in Slipstream in 2011.  Her poem “Bankruptcy Hearing” was reprinted in Ted Kooser’s column American Life in Poetry earlier this year.
