Deborah Casillas was born in Los Angeles, California, and has lived in Berkely, San Francisco, Madrid, Mexico City, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has an English degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Her poems have been published in Comstock Review, Manzanita Quarterly and Kalliope, as well as in two anthologies.
Her poem, “Degas’ Horses,” appeared in Issue 18.1 – Winter/Spring 2005.
