Eric Burger was a 2004-05 Jay C. and Ruth Halls Poetry Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin. He’s also a recipient of a grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts and his poems have recently appeared in Black Warrior Review, CutBank, Green Mountain Review, The Southeast Review, Puerto Del Sol, and Gulf Coast, among others. He has poems forthcoming in Sonora Review. His review of Power and Identity in the Creative Writing Classroom: The Authority Project (ed. Anna Leahy) is forthcoming in Pedagogy: Critical Approaches to Teaching Literature, Language, Composition, and Culture.
