EVAN BEATY is a native of San Antonio, Texas, and a 2009 MFA graduate of the University of Virginia. Presently, he teaches creative writing at James Madison University, and his poems have recently appeared or are forthcoming in Quarterly West, The Southern Review, Cave Wall, Crab Orchard Review, Southern Poetry Review, and elsewhere.
His poem, “Echolocation,” appeared in Issue 22.1-Winter/Spring 2010.
