Gary Dop grew up throughout Germany and the United States, and he now lives with his wife and three daughters in Minneapolis. Dop received a Special Mention in the 2011 Pushcart Prize Anthology, and his poems have appeared recently in New Letters, Agni, New York Quarterly, Rattle, Poet Lore, and the North American Review, among others.
His poems “Amish Man in the Andy Warhol Museum” and “How to Pretend You’ve Read Moby Dick” appeared in Issue 23.2 Summer/Fall 2011.
