JEN MCCLANAGHAN earned her MFA from Columbia University and her PhD from Florida State University. Her poetry manuscript was a 2009 finalist for the Dorset Prize, the National Poetry Series and for Saturnalia Books’ prize. Her work has appeared in numerous journals including the Iowa Review, AGNI online, and FIELD. Currently, she’s practicing the banjo in Baton Rouge where she’s a Resident Scholar at The Southern Review.
Her poems, “Spending the Day in Bed” and “On Returning to the World,” appeared in Issue 22.2-Summer/Fall 2010. Her poem, “Easy for a God,” appeared in Issue 21.1–Winter/Spring 2009.
