JOHN DUNCAN TALBIRD

A recent resident writer at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, John Duncan Talbird’s fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Jabberwock Review, Penumbra, Berkeley Fiction Review, Essays & Fictions, and the anthology Literature Across Cultures to name a few. He is on the editorial board of Green Hills Literary Lantern and a frequent contributor to Quarterly Review of Film and Video. An English professor at Queensborough Community College, he lives in Brooklyn with his wife, the artist Melinda Yale, and their orange cat, Harold.

His short story, “Honey Bear,” appeared in Issue 21.2 – Summer/Fall 2009.
