L. S. Klatt teaches American literature and creative writing at Calvin College. His first book of poems, Interloper, came out in 2009 from the University of Massachusetts Press. His second collection, Cloud of Ink, won the Iowa Poetry Prize and will be published by the University of Iowa Press this March. New poems of his have been featured recently in Boston Review, The Cincinnati Review, and The Believer.
His poem Audubon appeared in Issue 23.1 Winter/Spring 2011. His poem Cincinnati appeared in Issue 16.1 Winter/Spring 2004.
