Laura Van Prooyen’s first book of poetry, Inkblot and Altar, was published by Pecan Grove Press in 2006. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Blackbird, Cimarron Review, Greensboro Review, and Slate, among others. She lives in Illinois.
