Rebecca Epstein is the 2006 winner of the Silent Voices Short Story contest. Her fiction has been published in Arable, Convergence, and Fresh Boiled Peanuts. She is the Beverly Rogers Fellow in fiction in the MFA program at the University of Arizona. This is her first work of nonfiction.
