SHANNON ROBINSON’s fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Crab Creek Review, Gargoyle, Sou’wester, and Whiskey Island. Her short story “Everyone Has a Tell” won the 2009 Crab Creek Review Editors’ Prize. She is currently a contributing editor for River Styx and is in the first year of an MFA in fiction at Washington University. She lives in Saint Louis with her
husband (poet James Arthur) and a cat (Trixie).
Her story, “Secondhand,” was a runner-up for Sycamore Review‘s 2010 Wabash Prize for Fiction. It appeared in Issue 22.2-Summer/Fall 2010.
