Conor Broughan grew up in Alexandria, Virginia before he moved to Providence, Rhode Island to pursue a BA in Literature at Providence College. Following graduation, he moved to New York where he worked in academic publishing for several years. He currently lives in Lafayette, Indiana with his wife where he is an MFA candidate in fiction writing at Purdue University.
