Susan Settlemyre Williams holds an MFA degree in creative writing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her poetry has recently appeared or is forthcoming in the Mississippi Review, River City, Shenandoah, and Poetry Southeast, among other journals. She has a chapbook, Possession, forthcoming from Finishing Line Press. Her work also appears in the anthology Best New Poets 2006. She is book review editor and associate literary editor for the online journal Blackbird.
